New picture........

Yeah, yeah- I know a grandma riding a chopper has nothing to do with bicycles or donuts but it's my blog......so there.

I was listening to a couple podcasts last night concerning PC repair and some folks called in with their computer problems..........The more I listen to folks with simple problems that totally stymie them- the more I think I am making the right move by going back to school......

I like all kinds of music, I've been on a blue grass kick lately........not sure why but I'm really digging this guy. He died back in 2001 but his music is still popular.

About the only kinds of music I can't get my head around are country and rap/hip-hop.

Country music? I'm sorry but trying to listen to anything made in the last 25 years or so is like taking your fingernails down a 5 mile long chalkboard. I'd rather take a beating then have to listen to it. It's just crap.

Rap music? I guess it's okay, it's just not my bag.

This is today's "Song of the Day" Trust me-you'll either like this or you'll hate it-no middle position on this one kids...........

Enough music for one day, I gotta get some zzzz's I'm going to actually attempt to ride my bike later today.

Thanks for reading.

John Hartford has a special place in my heart. I had the great fortune to see him perform at a very tiny coffee house in Nashville when I was a teenager (back in the late 1960's). He was warm and real and interacted with the audience as if we mattered to him. Years later, I saw his tour bus parked on the street in Boulder, Colorado. The windshield was plastered with parking tickets as if they had been ignored for days!

Hey thanks for reading, I really like your blog- I am going to link to it on my links section. Please don't feel the need to reciprocate as mine isn't always exactly P.C. :-)

Along the bluegrass lines: If you haven't yet, try out Jim and Jennie and the Pinetops:

It looks like their site hasn't been updated in a while, but if you see a copy of "One More in the Cabin," pick it up. There's a new album out, but I haven't heard it.

They're also originally from PA, so there's a local connection.
